How to Send an Identifier

in three easy steps

No real action is taken here. This is only a demonstration.
  1. You need to choose a catalogue first. Below are displayed all catalogues known to BDB. Click on the button and change the value to another one.

    Enter the identifier of the star

    Catalogue:
    The catalogue whose abbreviated name you see will be used in the query. Here is the list of abbreviations:

  2. Now you have to input the identifier. Just click on the text field below and enter the ident. The identifier needs to be in the correct format for the chosen catalogue.

  3. Now submit your form by clicking on the "Submit" button. If you want to clear the text field above click on the "Reset" button. The catalogue will be also set to the default (BD).
